2. Secure Image Upload
We'll send you a secure link to upload up to three candidate images.
3. Initial digital render
Your image is reviewed and an initial digital render is prepared, typically within 10–15 business days.
4. Review Your Options
You'll receive the render, our recommended size, compatible size options and pricing.
5. Choose Your Canvas
Select your final image, size and rendering option.
6. Confirm & Order
We'll send your final Custom Canvas details and quote.
7. Creation & Production
Custom orders are submitted to production weekly.
8. On Its Way
Once submitted to production, allow approximately 4–6 weeks for production and delivery.
MDD Flex, MDD Select, MDD Complete
MDD Flex
MDD Flex uses a digital render and gives you the flexibility to choose from compatible canvas sizes.
MDD recommends the size we believe best suits your image. If you later choose another compatible size, there is no additional rendering fee. You simply pay the physical canvas price for the size ordered.
MDD Select
Exactly 70% of the canvas is professionally hand rendered, focusing detailed work where it will have the greatest visual impact.
Select also receives the MDD Signature Touch, with intentional special-drill placement, because every special has a purpose.
MDD Complete
The entire canvas is worked through by a professional designer for our highest level of hand-rendered detail.

Choosing Your Images ✨
You may submit up to three candidate images for each Custom Canvas project.
Images generally work best when they are:
- clear and well lit
- the highest resolution available
- not heavily blurred or filtered
- framed with enough space around important faces and details
MDD will help determine which image is best suited to the project.
Timing
Most Custom Canvas projects take approximately 8–10 weeks from when MDD begins working with you.
Initial digital render: 10–15 business days.
Once submitted to production: approximately 4–6 weeks for production and delivery.
Timing may vary based on customer response time, rendering choices, requested changes and the current Custom Canvas workload.
Image Rights
You must own the image or have permission from its copyright holder to reproduce it. MDD cannot create custom canvases using protected characters, artwork or photography without appropriate permission.
